As you may or may not know one of my best friends got me on Rupaul's Drag Race (I mean on watching it) and I've been really inspired by the queen's makeup so I figured I'd start a fun series inspired by the queens. Now I'm only going to be doing my favorite queens from each season. If you don't see your favorite queen and want me to do a look let me know. I'm going to start chronologically by season and today's look is inspired by Ivy Winters. Ivy is such a sweetheart and... ok I typically like all the Miss Congeniality winners, like sorry about it, I like queens who I can see myself actually hanging out with. Ivy is super creative and talented and like, cute! Haha.
And this is my look...
Enough blabbering, tutorial time!
Products used:I applied Sephora Collection Colorful Blush in Sweet On You with my Sephora Collection Pro Mini Airbrush 55.5. I also applied Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in High Tide as a base for the Jesse's Girl Eye Dust in Kiwi Rose to the high planes of my face with my Sephora Collection Pro Contour Brush #74.
As a base for my powder eyeshadows I applied the Makeup Forever Aqua Cream in 03 and blended it out with my Bubbi Dual Cover Brush. To map out and cut the crease I applied OCC Cosmetic Colour Pencil in Sybil and blended that out using my Sigma E30 Pencil Brush.
For the crease I applied Lorac Camel and Sepia along with Lorac Black with my Sigma E40 Tapered Blending brush and Sigma E25 Blending Brush, respectively.
For the lid I applied Urban Decay Revolt using my Bubbi Shader brush. I also topped it off with Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre in Opal.
To highlight the brow-bone and the inner corner of the eye I applied Lorac White using my Bubbi Contour Eye Brush and Sigma E30 Pencil Brush, respectively.
For eyeliner, I went with Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. For the waterline I applied Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Crayon in Blacquer.
This is the look with mascara on sans false lashes.
For lips, I applied The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Mango Seed Lip Care 01 Pomegranate and topped it off with MAC Lipstick in Mind Control.
