Although it's been a few weeks since we learned that natural hair vlogger Domineque Banks passed away after battling lupus, the sad news is still weighing heavily on our hearts.
The 27-year-old known as 'Longhairdontcare2011' was beloved for her YouTube videos, which offered up awesome tutorials and sage advice for naturalistas. Domineque was inspired by her illness to start documenting her hair journey in 2004, however her glowing personality never let on that she was suffering.

In celebration of her short, yet impactful life, we've gathered a few of our favorite videos from Domineque. Although she is gone, her beautiful legacy lives on.
