If there was ever a collection that had my name written all over it, I think this could be the one! The new Nectar and Nude beauty launch from Bobbi Brown brings us a beautiful gathering of soft nudes, blossom pinks, shimmering apricot hues and sheer corals to warm and flatter the skin whilst giving it a peachy natural glow to take you from beach to cocktail party with a quick swirl of powder and slick of gloss.
First up is the Nectar & Nude Eye Palette, possibly the crowning glory of this entire collection. It combines six wearable shades for the eyes from shimmering nectars, soft taupes and rich browns to help highlight and define. The shadows are buttery-soft and blend nicely together with the darker matte shades being a lot more pigmented than the softer, sparkly shadows. Pink Bellini (third from right) is my absolutely favourite placed all over the lid with Golden Bronze (third for left) swept along the bottom lash line for a true, gold goddess look. The nails haven't been neglected by this collection either with two new limited edition polishes released to tantalise your talons. Nectar nail polish is a fun pop of bright coral whereas Bare Peach is a golden, glitter-ladened clear polish that can be worn alone but looks particularly striking when layered over the top of Nectar for a sweet, sparkly twist.
For the cheeks and lips, Bobbi Brown has brought us a Pot Rouge in Hibiscus - a product inspired by Bobbi's memories of her grandmother who used lipstick on her cheeks instead of blush. This double-duty creamy formula gives the lips and cheeks a rosy stain of rich coral that is extremely pigmented and works best applied lightly and blended out. It gives the skin a healthy flush and is the perfect colour for the lips to compliment the neutral shimmery shades on the eyes. And finally, we are treated to three new lip glosses to illuminate and dazzle the lips with a pop of nude-pink, soft coral or dazzling gold for a fun, frivolous finish to your look. From top to bottom, left to right, we have Nude Pink, Nectar and Bare Peach - all absolutely lovely, not too sticky and packed full of vitamins and Jojoba Oil to keep lips supple and soft. I think Nectar is definitely my favourite and looks divine when layered over the lop of Hibiscus Pot Rouge!
